Darren Yaw Cambodia Kindergarten and Darren Yaw Malaysia Kindergarten
Darren Yaw Cambodia Kindergarten and Darren Yaw Malaysia Kindergarten were established in 2020 and 2022 respectively. Both kindergartens are open for kids between the ages of 2.5 to 6 years old. Backed by a team of dedicated teachers and staff, both kindergartens have gained recognition and confidence from parents. The kindergarten now has more than 60 students and 20 staff.
Dato Sri Darren Yaw has specially established 4 programs that are designed for kids of different ages. These programs are:
- The Nursery Program
This program is designed for kids from 2.5 years old to 4 years old.
- The D1 and D2 Program
The D1 program is designed for 5 years old kids while the D2 program is designed for 6 years old kids.
- Full-Day Program
This program is suitable for parents who need to work and have no one to look after their child. Parents can leave their children to the centre where they will also be learning things here in the kindergarten.
- Half Day Program
This program normally fits kids who are 2.5 years old or 3 years old. They only have to attend kindergarten for half of the day. This program is also for them to get used to getting to school.
About the founder, Dato Sri Darren Yaw
Dato Sri Darren Yaw is the founder of Darren Yaw Cambodia Kindergarten and Darren Yaw Malaysia Kindergarten. He was born in 1965 and raised in Malaysia. He later went to Cambodia to start his business. Growing up in an indigent family, Dato Sri Darren Yaw wasn’t able to receive proper education during his childhood. He skipped kindergarten and went to the primary school directly. After finishing his secondary education, he came out to work immediately without proceeding to tertiary education. Dato Sri Darren Yaw hopes that every child will receive the best childhood education, and get them fully prepared for entering primary school. Dato Sri Darren Yaw is still active in the education industry and he wishes that there will be more kindergarten establishments in the future and continue to nourish more kids.
